Work database upgraded – Teosto’s web service fully available again
The project to upgrade the international work database has been successfully completed, and Teosto’s web service is open. New works and publishing agreements can now be registered.
The international ICE work database was upgraded at the turn of 2025. The approximately one-month pause in the registration of works and work information caused by the upgrade project has now ended, and Teosto’s web service is available as usual.
You can once again submit work notifications and notifications of self-administration as well as register publishing agreement information in the web service.
In addition to Teosto, the users of the international ICE work database include STIM in Sweden, PRS in the UK, Koda in Denmark, Tono in Norway and Sabam in Belgium.
Submit notifications for your new works and be prepared to wait a while for their registration
Submit work notifications for all of your unregistered works as soon as possible. As there has been a pause of just over a month in the submission of work notifications, it is expected that more work notifications than usual will be submitted in early 2025.
The processing times of works may therefore be longer than usual despite the fact that the works are being processed as quickly as possible.
We hope that you will be patient – the works will appear in your own works list as soon as they have been processed.
Performance notifications and complaints must be submitted by 31 January 2025
Performance notifications for performances that took place between 1 October and 31 December must be submitted by the end of January.
If you have performed works that are not yet in the work database, we recommend this procedure as an exception to the norm (only for this deadline):
- Add the work via General work search on the performance notification form
- Open general work search
- Enter the work’s title in the search field > Search
- Click the “Add a new work” link and enter the requested information > Add work
- If you’ve added your own work, remember to confirm it once it gets added to your Unconfirmed works list in the Works section of the web service (Dropdown menu Works > Unconfirmed)
Similarly, the deadline for complaints regarding the December distribution is 31 January 2025. If you have noticed a reason for a complaint in your December distribution, you can make a complaint in the web service.
