Is the Finnish music Industry equal? Please respond to our survey!
Equality and non-discrimination are fundamental rights based on international and national regulations and agreements. Everyone has the right to be treated equally and without fear of discrimination.
Music Industry Equality Barometer 2025 aims to determine the current state of equality and non-discrimination in the Finnish music industry, how it has developed since last year, and how it affects the future development and opportunities in the industry. The results will be used in concrete measures to promote an equal and diverse operating environment.
The survey is open in Finnish and English from February 24 to March 11, 2025.
Completing the survey takes less than ten minutes and is done anonymously. As a thank you for participating, we will hold a raffle for ticket vouchers among those who leave their email addresses. The results of the study will be published in April 2025.
The study is coordinated by Teosto and partnered by Gramex, Music Finland, Musiikkituottajat – IFPI, Muusikkojen liitto, Suomen jazzliitto, Suomen Konservatorioliitto, Suomen Musiikintekijät, Suomen Musiikkikustantajat, Suomen sinfoniaorkesterit, and Suomen Säveltäjät.
