Licences for Restaurants
Small restaurants with a maximum of 200 customer seats and large restaurants with more than 200 customer seats
If music is playing in the restaurant, a licence is required. The type of licence required depends on a few factors:
- Does the music come from a recording or is it played live?
- What is the size of your restaurant?
- Would you like to report event information to Teosto monthly or provide an estimate of the whole year’s music use in advance?
PLEASE NOTE! If the music is played from a recording (background music, DJ, karaoke), you also need a Gramex licence from Musiikkiluvat.fi.
